    Yup, all too common. Friend of mine has a silver (LMM) 1st Gen with this on it. I've told her many times that she needs a timing belt job done, but she says she "not gonna spend that much money on something that doesn't need to be done." "It runs fine.". :facepalm:

    :facepalm: yeah it's going to be real fun to have to spend the money to tow the car once it breaks, or worse, have something else break with it. I lost my radiator when my water pump blew because it threw the fan into the radiator. If I had only known it was going out, I could have saved myself a fortune. Luckily I caught it on my next car in time
