    I don't bother trying to teach anyone to shoot anymore, everyone wants to hold the gun wrong, and when you try and show them the correct way they won't listen because it's not the way everyone you see do it on tv

    the range officer is just a little improved over the mill spec (sights, trigger etc) but I only paid $700 as well

    see I like the grip safety and the hammer on the RO better, I used to have an XD9c and had issues with the grip safety because it was too low profile. The Beavertail is nice to have too

    Removed an alternator on a buddies Jeep. Going to install a new one after work.

    The Jeep TJ 4.0's tensioner pulley is the simplest setup I've ever seen. Wish ours were that easy....

    The best sub $1k 1911 I ever owned was my Taurus PT-1911. It came with $600 worth of mods done to it from the factory for the low price of $600. It had a skeletonized trigger and hammer, flared mag well, extended beaver tail safety, ambidextrous safety, reduced trigger pull, and adjustable take up. The slide, frame, and barrel were are all hand fit before being engraved with the serial number.

    I've never been a fan of Springfield XD pistols. I bought one years ago and was unimpressed to the point that I sold it within 2 months of buying it.

    ive shot my buddies plenty of times and ive gone to the shooting range and used them. he has put a few thousand rounds through his with absolutely no issues. i tried the ruger, m&p and glock. all of which were not comfortable for myself. to each their own :cheers:

    almost finished with one headlight, i got it aligned and waiting for epoxy to dry to it wont wiggle loose. then throw the shroud and halo on.
