Personal preference, I've read a lot of good things about the MTR's, but not much about the others, the buckshots and bajas are (IMO) more of a mud only tire, with very little street time thrown in.

When I get new tires (or a set for wheeling) they're gonna be a set of treadwright gaurdogs (MTR copies).

Shined her up real good today. Took a clay bar to some spots

 

Washed mine as well...finally got all the clay off it. Rims are pitting again. And dried mud does not like to come off tires...

 

It's weird because I've usually heard the opposite about the MTR's. The old versions were awesome and everyone wanted them. The new ones don't seem to do as well and they seem really stiff. Most people I've talked to/seen with them regret going to the new ones. I will say though...these are people that don't mall crawl and actually use their tires.

 

Reason I said that is because everyone and their mother who has a Rubicon usually have MTRs lol. For me though, not a tire I'd ever buy. I know a few people who are hoarding all the old ones haha

I like my KM2's but I still want to try MTR's.

In my opinion tires are like suspension. You can read other peoples view all day, but until you drive with them on your vehicle or one similar you're not going to get a perfect response. Everybody has their preferences.
