    That's what I hear. The idea of waking up early to stand around in a marsh just doesn't appeal to me. I shoot a lot of trap and skeet so I get my shotgun workout that way.

    I've never hunted that way, last season (my first season) we hunted jump shoot ponds, get to the pond at about 8 (earlier if one of us had to work), sneak up on the pond, then scare them up and blast 'em.

    I shoot tons of trap also, but it just doesn't compare.

    Dang, 08:00 is late for duck hunting around here. We usually camp out the night before and then get up at about 05:00. We're done by around 09:00 haha
