    he is right. when it’s hot and dry you sweet evaporates fast, and you can’t not know how much you have really sweated. and you get dehydrated faster.

    sweet staying on the skin helps cool you off.

    Your suppose to drink a ton either way.... 105 with 90% humidity will just make it so your body doesn't evaporate it so your body will heat up much faster, in laments terms...

    They say drink more on dry weather because you will be able to evaporate it off and cool your body more efficient. Not because its more dangerous.

    Look up wet bulb glow temperature.

    In the military they never canceled PT because of the heat but they have because of the humidity combined with the heat. The heat index takes into consideration heat and humidity.

    Like right now in Moab, UT it's 100 but it feels like 94 with 5% humidity. In Houston, TX it's 87 and feels like 92 with 56% humidity.

    Dry heat is dangerous in the fact that you become dehydrated much more quickly.

    In humid heat you feel miserable because you're soaked, but you're less likely to dehydrate.

    I've just never liked the cold. When it's cold I can't do anything outside it seems. A weekend of snow is fun, but after that I'm ready for Summer again. So much easier to do things outdoors then.
