Looking at a TV for my room, 42" will look like this, what do y'all think?

 

42" will be good that's what we have in bedroom

 

It's definitely ambitious on Ford's part, that's for sure.

Edit: the 21 lbs of boost is only made in the "over boost" mode and after 20 seconds of wide open throttle the boost is reduced to 12 lbs.

 

Question when I tried to use wires to eject CDs I guess wires touched and smoke came out head unit but now on my keyless entry my lock button won't work but unlock will

 

You're fucked! Everyone knows electronics are powered by the mystical blue smoke. Once you let it out, your electronics won't work anymore.

 

It's gonna be a crooked ass TV if it looks like that

 

Thats plenty of room. Get like a 50-55 if you can afford it

There is some sort of formula for what tv size is best for the size of the room you will be putting it in and for how far you will sit from it. I have a decent size room and i only have a 22" vizio in it. Its crystal clear anywhere in my room.

Basically, if you think you need a 42, you probably only need a 32.

I could've fit a 26 or a 32 but the picture wouldn't have been as clear from the distance that i watch it

 

Height plays a big role too... I have a 47" at my house at school and due to shelving it's installed way up high and looks too small for the room. You only sit like 7 feet from it but the height makes it look smaller

Yep

I mocked up a 50" and it was a little big for my taste, but I think a 47" would look good.
My issue is finding a good size and quality TV while keeping it below budget enough I can get a surround sound system in fairly soon.

According to the formulas I found sitting 9' from the tv you should get a 55" or bigger screen.

Maybe its changed, hell if i know. Seating arrangements in my living room range from 3ft-10ft and a 42" or 47" is as big as i would go. The 42" in there now fits nice but will go with a 47 or 50 next time.

I'd say 42-47 is plenty. I like vizio and sony the best

It's between 10-12 feet from where I lay in bed to watch tv

 

this multiview tv is a JVC and we've had it at my work for about four years...never been turned off!! lol poor thing...still going tho.

 

Also get LED if you can because they are more efficient, run cooler, and last longer
