    A few people I work with are PCS'ing to New Mexico, so I showed them some pictures of some cool spots that I found out there. After telling them how jealous I was of course.... :(

    They had no idea stuff like this was out there even though they've been out there just as much as I have... Haha

    Mine are as well. But that's because I rotate mine every 5,000 miles.

    Can't say the same for how in-spec my alignment is though thanks to seized tie rods... Haha

    I would think it would be easier production-wise to produce that same product and just having the consumer update it.

    Most likely but at the same time it would take almost no extra work to load the newer software onto the camera. They probably have it either pre-installed on the boards when they get them or put it on them before assembling the cameras.

    I'm willing to bet that the boards aren't made and software loaded in house. They probably come to GoPro pre-loaded and then assembled. There's no doubt that it would cost money to change the software.

    The updates for the gopro cameras can be installed wirelessly via your cell phone using the gopro app.
    I'm not sure why you're having trouble with your camera Lauren. I bought mine and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I shot a bunch of footage and a few days after buying it installed a software update that added more resolutions to use.
    Did Brent already ask if your memory card is a class 10 memory card?
