Well its also nice to run all my stock screens and pull up all my finance shit on dual monitors so the bigger the better lol

 

My one 24" is good and all, but work has spoiled me. I will definitely be running dual monitors. One monitor isn't enough. I like to be able to run Chrome, edit video or pics, and watch Netflix at the same time.

 

Lol for shits and giggles I designed the best computer (by best I obviously mean most expensive hahaha) I could on cyberpower.com... $27,000 hahahaha

If I had a couple thousand I'd be able to build a computer that would be more than enough for me. Spending something as crazy as $27,000 would be insane because no matter what you'll still have to upgrade relatively soon.

 

This too.. if I could afford it id run 4 monitors. One of the professors at my school used to be an investment banker and said he ran 8. 4 to run bloomberg, 2 for excel, and 1 for the internet and 1 for his reports

 

I was thinking the same thing today. I want to buy a new 50" tv but right now 4k is a shit ton of moneyy and next year it wont be. But the year after that the next big thing will come out and be a shit ton of money for a year and then be cheap.. thats what sucks about technology, its just a never ending circle that costs lots of money to keep up with

 

Nice, the smallest set of monitors where I work is 6. Unless you want to count the virtual computers that are on one 40" tv as one screen

I'm interacting with 8 screens every day and I definitely don't want that many haha

Yeah... When it comes to tv's and computer screens I just get one that meets the size I want and can do 1080p at 240hz. Anything extra will just be obsolete by the end of the year...

Generally and for most people 2-3 is fine. Then again you get complicated enough projects, I know cpas running 4.

 

the dino's work setup has like 4 or 5 IIRC lol

 

I spent about 1200 on my computer build. It's not the best out there but plenty for what I'll ever use it for
