Gotta coat the exhaust on my quad (rust issues).
Any reason not to use Cerakote? It's rated for 1,700 degrees.

Well she's mine! Already dropped it once, so I got that over with... :anonymous:

Is a little on the tall side for me. But once I get a lowering link, drill another shock mount, raise the forks, and buy a lower seat I should be a good 3" lower.

The main thing I was having trouble with was figuring out what side to lean on when stopped. Left side works best for me.

My only main problem now is not stalling it coming from a stop sign. Did it twice in a row with two cars behind me, very embarrassing haha just takes learning how to feather the clutch.

    Thanks!

When I dropped it I was in the driveway at a complete stop. Bent the cheap aluminum clutch handle pretty bad. Took a breaker bar and get it straightened out though. Plastics didn't even touch the ground haha hand guards will be coming soon as well!

Look into sliders if it has attachment points, totally worth the money.

Yup, already plan to get the Zeta hand guards. Have integrated blinkers to get rid of the stupid OEM ones.

Good call on the hand guards. When I raced dirt bikes in GNCC, Hare Scrambles, and Enduro, hand guards like that kept me from having broken bones and/or bent clutch/brake levers more than a few times.

    Congrats on the purchase.

Leaning to your left side is usually the way to go if you're right handed as it feels the most natural. You might want to look into a Rekluse clutch also. It's an automatic centrifugal clutch.

    Sick dent
Honda FTW :D nice looking bike, how many cc's? Definitely a good call on hand guards, they have saved my knuckles more than a few times. Not sure if those are aluminum or steel but my aluminum ones did okay for a while but after a pretty good wreck they're bent up and i think it's about time for new ones.

Those rekluse clutch systems are bad to the bone, would probably be the first thing i buy if i was riding hard enduro type stuff. I've gotten used to clutching the shit out of my CR when i need to so it's just normal at this point lol.

Thanks! It's my first bike haha

It's a 250cc, but it sits pretty high haha

Once we stopped and grabbed lunch after I drove it a few miles and stalled it in front of a bunch of cars, I was beginning to worry about my purchase. Then we got back on and rode around some more and I was happy all over again :D
