I'd like to do motovlogging eventually if I actually had anything to talk about.

 

I don't know why but I get lost in those motovlogging videos for some reason I'll pass hours watching them.

Started on my new license plate mount over lunch, I think I have an idea. Good thing Kansas doesn't require trailer registration under 2000 lbs. I have several trailer license plate brackets sitting around haha.

 

I've spent quite a few hours watching supermoto vlogs haha gets me more and more excited to go out there and explore back roads and hit random dirt when I want

What bike do you have? The license plate setup on my bike is stupid big...

Also, have you thought about using led plate bolts?

 

I'll be running this. Integrated turn signals. As for LED bolts, there's really no need since the taillight already has a built in license plate light.

 

I have a 2005 ZX6R which suffered from giant-gay-factory-mudflap-itis like yours has. Someone before me took most of the mudflap off. The plate was just ziptied up under the passenger footpeg mounts and was way too angled and far ahead of the tire to really be legal (and also not lit). I ordered some LED bolts and am in the process of ghetto-fabbing up a plate.

 

That looks pretty good. I personally am not a fan of integrated turn signals unless it's a R6 taillight that has the sequential turn signals. I've had too many close calls involving people almost rear ending me because they couldn't see the turn signals well enough through the tail/brake light. Also, in CA the turn signals have to be X inches apart to be considered legal...

 

Don't I had an integrated on my 250r and you could not see anything..

I think that's exactly what I put on mine. Works well, and easy to wire up. It's not the brightest though, but I haven't been hit yet so I think I'm fine

 

I've always operated under the theory that if you're relying on your turn signals you're gonna have a bad time. If I'm gonna change lanes or turn I assume nobody can see me regardless.

 

Yup. Exactly. I use it incase there is an offchance somone is paying attention, can't hurt, and when cops are around. I've been pulled over for not using my turn signal, at first I asked him how the hell he could even tell they are so dim. I have t really had to deal with the cops so far. Which is surprising because I'm missing a number of "required" saftey features.

I sure do watch hard when i pass one though.

 

Yeah I try to stay clear of them, I assume they're gonna pull me over for any little thing they can and I'd rather not even talk to them.

Downtown has 20 MPH speed limits that everyone disobeys all the time, it's about a mile long with stoplights at every block. A cop was right on me and my roommate's ass one day as we got into it so we looked at each other and pinned it right at 12 MPH and sure enough he followed (honestly at an unsafe distance) us all the way home. Never lit us up but I'm sure he ran both plates. I'm surprised he was satisfied with how mine was mounted.

I got tired of doing that. Too much work editing videos and not entertaining enough for me. But a buddy does it all the time.

I have an integrated tail, brightest I've seen personally and entirely visible. Half the tail light lights up for the turn signal. Tst industries. Granted the camera that was used didn't pick up the light well but it's an idea

I have so much down time during the day while my shit computer at work loads and has to restart and what not. Freaking cloud based servers suck. This is the second one ive used and I hate them and am not impressed. So many problems and lost productivity waiting on this virtual desktop thing to perform basic functions. Like fucking turning on!! Come on!
