Hate yto say it, but a premade salad in tupperware works for me a lot.

I like making hobo packets camping... mix ground beef and random veggies (potatoes, carrots, peas usually) and a pad of butter and a bunch of seasonings and make big flat tinfoil packets of it. You just toss em on the fire and let em go for awhile and then you have a pretty good meal when they're done. You can make them ahead of time and then put them in the cooler so they're ready to roll when you are.

 

This. This. This. This is one of my favorite camping dinners. You can get elaborate with seasoning/ingredients, but very easy to cook.

 

That sounds good even not camping

 

I like MREs, full meals, no fire required.

 

I've never had a MRE

 

There are some very delicious ones

 

You have to figure out which flavors are good. Some are quite nasty but some are really good. And they'll come with M&M's with some too and mini Tabasco bottles. And a heating pack that you just add water too and it boils the food. Around 2,200 calories in each one.



Also come with matches, toilet paper, coffee, etc. Whole bunch of stuff.
