    Only reason I'd like to move in with him is because I'd make an extra $750 a month, pay him $300, and barely spend any extra gas since I get 70mpg on the bike haha

    X2. The important part (the one that so many people seem to find impossble) is keeping it manageable.

    I currently owe nearly $100k on my house. Taken at face value, it's overwhelming. However, my mortgage payment is an easily covered $700 a month, including my taxes and my insurance on the place.

    The whole "debt is natural" thing is a joke. Buy a house or affordable car yeah ok, but other than that....if you can't pay cash I would advise against it. It makes no sense to rack up unneeded debt just because youre young....

    That's horrible advice. Debt should only be used to finance investments. School, your home, your business are all investments that you expect a return on. After that only buy what you can afford. Never finance toys.
