Holy cow! 2 years is an epic wait to get your gun back! I'd have been bothering the poor bastard weekly, haha!!

Since you seem like you appreciate the older stuff, here's one of my antiques.
1919 Savage 19 NRA. It's a first year production model (4 digit serial #! ). Far from the most valuable gun in my collection, but it's one of my favorite to shoot.



Factory match-grade peep sight means it'll still put a full magazine (only 5 shots, but whatever) onto a nickel at 50 yards. And it'll shoot minute-of-squirrel all day long

 

2 years to restore that gun? the heck did he do? people restore entire cars shorter than that haha

 

Yeah, they're not going to refund somebody that did it theirself haha

 

just paid for Lindsay and I's first term of college.

I can already tell, my truck will hate me for the next 4 yrs.

 

Except for the summers in between...unless you plan on taking classes...in the summer

 

It would be lovely to see funds in my accounts during the summer.

so I can continue spending them on college.

better hope all the money is being used well and you are getting the most for your education, and that the education is in something that will pay you back in the future.

 

And that right there is exactly why I transferred to a different school this year. No use in spending and extra year and spending another year of hard earned money to end up with the same degree. Definitely not trying to take any more time than I need to, once summer is over school becomes my full time job really.
