I have the Note 3 and don't think it feels cheap at all. I prefer it to an aluminum skinned phone actually. It weighs less and aluminum will dent on minor drops if the phone isn't in a case whereas the slightly more forgiving composition of plastic will allow for some give. I have personally observed this anyway. I am hard on phones and have been through a lot of them. I got my first cell phone 12 years ago and have gone through at least a phone a year since then.

Brett, you'll love the S5. I was going between that phone and the Note 3 before going with the Note 3 because of the stylus.

Ben, what's the megapixels on the rear camera of your HTC?

In tech related news, I bought a Samsung Gear 2 New watch last night....

Had an Samsung Captivate (Android) which was a great phone until I jumped into a pool with it haha

I've had my IPhone 5 for almost two years and I've never had to format it or reset it. Only issue I've had with it is a faulty battery which I replaced.

Planning on getting a Galaxy S5 next which I'm sure I'll love.

Both a great phones and have their ups and downs.

Wasn't using it as an assessment in a "my phone is better than your phone way". I briefly considered the HTC but didn't remember what the megapixels on the camera is. If I remember correctly that was one thing that steered me back toward the Samsungs.

Yup, just a random mess-up that they admitted to.

Could have happened to any phone.
Haha I can't justify paying full price for a phone. I just wait for my contract to end.
I agree with Ben, to a point.

Yes all phone cameras suck compared to a dedicated camera. But, if you're comparing only phone cameras to each other then the IPhone and Galaxy S cameras are near the top.

The new HTC One has 4 megapixels while the Galaxy S5 has 16.

Yes, I did use it as an assessment; between my buying the HTC or the Samsung. Like i stated though I wasn't trying to use that comparison in a my phone is better overall than yours way. You were saying you like your phone because it's metal not plastic. I said I liked my plastic phone asked you for a memory refresher on the resolution of the HTC camera since I considered purchasing it at one point. That was all I was trying to do there.
And by the way, I have a real camera (DSLR). But my phone is always in my pocket, ya feel me? While the HTC might have better low light capabilities, I don't find myself taking too many pics in low light settings. The camera on my Note 3 has been working just fine for me.
