    Some, Suspension and stuff, tires, maybeh some armor.
    That amount from the insurance company was probably because he bought it at an auction, which usually comes with a salvage title. Salvage titles require you to report the amount paid for the vehicle, with proof. Insurance companies will absolutely pay the least amount they have to.

    Now that being said, if he was paying for insurance equivalent to a $30K vehicle.... he got F'kin hosed by the insurance company.
