Ah, I see what you're getting at.

I don't know what it is, but I hate loans. I don't like the idea of paying for something that long haha

That's why I got the loan on my FiST that I did. Getting a low APR made it easier to decide to go that route as well.

You always see stupid amounts of money getting thrown around in the dorms, no bills or anything has its advantages. Lucky fuckers.

Until they add insurance into the mix and realize they have no money to actually go do anything haha

I'm in the dorms and definitely over it. I can make more money living off base than I currently am....
We already have the best trucks out there, why talk about other ones. Not to mention this is an off-topic thread anyways. Plenty of other threads to talk about trucks. Since this is a truck forum haha

You can make even more if you find a chill active duty chick. My wife and I are banking being over here, and surprisingly even more when we go back to the states.

My other reason for paying the truck off quickly is because my APR is pretty high....

Yeah, mil-to-mil is the easiest way to make a ton of money... I know SrA that have a freaking Lexus haha

I'd rather not live mil-to-mil with my job though. Working different shifts every other month plus random deployments for both of you would be hard on a family, especially with kids.... Just recently saw this issue in a family that was mil-to-mil....

Yeah I know that feeling. Wife works Mental Health and I'm out on the line most nights, well before I got thrown into CTK.

Yeah, that's what happens when your parents have terrible and you have no credit to speak of....

Only way I could get a loan on my truck was because it was at a local bank back home, I knew the loan manager who happened to be a veteran, and my mom had to co-sign for me. Even then I got a very bad rate....

I grew up with both parents in the Air Force. You get used to deployments as a kid.

As a kid yeah, but dealing with kids being in is a little different. I couldn't imagine being away from my kid for longer than a few days.

Still don't want to go through that. My gf was seriously looking into going in the Air Force after I finished basic/tech school. But I talked her out of it.

I don't see the Air Force being my final career, so I'll do a deployment, finish my enlistment and probably move on to bigger and better things. We'll see...

Depending on where you look. I found banks wont take that into account at all. But ive had no trouble getting loans through state farm or toyota

Heard the Air Force is more family friendly (no offense) Brent and Seth. For whatever that is worth.
My bro in law is in the marines and was stationed in japan and took his 3 kids and my sis with them, then moved to Nc, and are probably coming back to San Antonio after he's done. Must be tough for them. I know he had some play money to spend on gaming and toys when I visited in nc before they had their 3rd kid.
