That's the way it is here in Missouri.

Grew up in a dry county my whole life so it was always an odd sight to see tons of beer at a gas station haha

    Didn't say it wasn't a beautiful state :p

Honestly the deciding factor is how cold it gets. Utah is looking to be the best bet.

    Hah, whatever. Its called preference.

I'd rather be outside in 100* weather all day than be outside in 40* weather. It's too cold if I can't go outside and work on something without my fingers going numb.

I love the weather of New Mexico, but the fact that it's far away from everything but Colorado is the downside. It's honestly between that and Utah. New Mexico is easiest career wise though.

True, which is why I hate Missouri haha 7 months of cold weather is too much. And the wind, it's ridiculous.

Yup. Coming from Texas it is.

Negative numbers and minimum of 20mph+ winds every other day is pretty cold and windy to me.

    Yup, no thanks haha

I don't like forcing myself to live places that cause pain. I'll gladly visit though :)

Didn't realize how nice I had it in Texas until I left haha

I love it. It's kinda like the saying, "you bleed just to know your alive". Same thing. The harsh becomes just...life. idk..it's weird. I miss it in a lot of ways. Sometimes not so much. But it's rarely that cold to me here. I ride my bike about a mile and a half everyday to school year round no matter what.

Yeah, all relative to where you've lived for the most part.

Really the only reason I dislike the wind and cold is for working on things outside and riding the motorcycle. Give me plenty of good weather to do that every year and I'm happy.

eh, i work outside all summer there. You just get used to it. Granted i live in a area where the wind isn't crazy all the time like Casper or the southern half. Swear it blows constant there. My college roommate in wy was from casper and when we had a rain storm that was real light he was like "wow, i have never seen rain fall straight down before".

But there is plenty of good weather to do that stuff in. The bike tours that go through Chief Joseph and the Beartooth are insane. Like mini Sturgis

    but whatever.

    More room for me

Haha yeah, like I said. I'll stick with Utah or New Mexico for my future plans. Or really anywhere that has amazing views/mountains and somewhat warm weather most of the year.

If only California had normal laws...

Haha I'm interested to see if that's just a stereotype of the place or if it's really that bad....

Plus it would be nice to be within an hours drive of SLC. Plenty of jobs out there for the woman, but limited for me.

New Mexico is any easy choice for my career. But hers on the other hand would be very limited.

Its not cold here, we need more snow! But then again there arent any mountains to enjoy it.
