I prefer 10mm

 

Well obviously 1911s kick less because they're metal. But I was comparing my XDS .45 to my roommates SR40c. I damn near dropped the .40 because it kicked so much compared to my XDS.

 

I want a 10mm so bad. But Glocks don't fit my hands at all.

 

As long as you're accurate with it who gives adamn if it "fits"

Yep, when I get one it will be a 1911 model.

 

not being able to grip a gun good could cause someone to not be accurate.

 

The grips are too wide for me. Makes it sit in my hand awkwardly.

Right, but until you've actually shot it don't count it out. I was opposed to glocks because I held one and it wasn't as comfortable as my old CZ, but when I shot a g19 I was much more accurate with it compared to my p06.

Granted I'll probably sell my g19 because it serves the same purpose for me as my fns9 and the fn is superior....and I'll get a g20/21/41.

 

Xds is a subcompact single stack...3.3" barrel, less than an inch wide and ~4.5" tall.

Sold mine for a shield...was the right choice, I hate grip safeties.

 

you must need help a lot with those small hands. sorry i could not resist...

my hand almost wraps all the way around and covers the whole grip on glock’s.

I find guns that have a double stack more comfortable than single stack magazine.

Have you gotten used to the trigger pull? That was my only complaint.

Yeah haha I don't shoot it as much as I'd like to. It usually throws me off the first couple shots but it's not bad at all once you get used to it. They make a different trigger for it that I'd still like to try out. Might help out a little bit.
