Really? My parents only drive fords and they all do well. Moms Mustang claims like 15-19 and she gets about 16.5. Dads f350 gets about 20 hwy, and the fusion gets about 24 mpg

yeah i don’t know thats jus what people i know have said and what i have seen.

on top of that the dash and doors plastic keep falling apart/off just driving down the road. me and my buddy where driving it one day and part of the rear door/door area broke and fell off and could not be put back on. we hit a bump in the road at like 60/65mph. also i think part of the grill or bumper broke/came off. truck never saw off road other than a grass yard or gravel road.

The rally car is still getting good mileage even with all the mods and a performance tune. No knocking Ford here.

My old truck (05 f150, 4 door 4x4 with the 5.4) got about 11mpg, I could pull 13-14 if I babied it or drove like my Grandma. Shit was terrible, I'll never buy another ford. Me and my mom had terrible experiences with fords. She had an 04 explorer limited, fully loaded, 4.6 4x4 that decided it needed all new hub bearings and a new trans at 115k miles.

I dont mind my gas mileage. Avg 17 something usually, only highway driving is to work. So maybe 40% highway.

I'm a little disappointed in the mileage on the v6 taco but I wanted a manual trans, and a smaller physical truck. Though the mileage went up a few mpg's after the first 8k-10k miles.

I just wish they made a DCLB taco with a manual trans.

I would think that'd make for too many configurations for Toyota. Guess that's what the AC manual is for, aren't they basically a long bed?

I don't think it'd bee too many configs but that's just me. I only bought the AC because I wanted a manual trans most importantly, and then the longest bed I could get on the Tacoma second, and then four functional seats would be icing on the cake. The jump seats/leg room in the back of the access cab doesn't count.
