    Yeah, I just have to figure out if the pay cut is worth it.. Honestly the living is cheaper down there tho just dont know if its $10,000 a year cheaper.

    I could never become a cop. Worked beside them and have a good rapport with most of them. But I don't think I could be one. I've been offered to join and my boss who is a former pd would like to see me become one. But it's not for me.

    well gas is the same, truck payment is the same, cell phone payment and insurance is the same... so really you save like 1-200/mo for rent, and save SOME on groceries. ive looked into it, VA was the same thing. i dont want to have to work details on all my days off to make it up..

    Seems like there are so many people who don't want to or care to become police that have an easy in, but those like myself who have an extreme passion to work LE and try sooo hard have the most difficult time. I guess it does help that I live in this God forsaken state of CA :rolleyes: I'm gonna move to Alaska, or New York. Screw CA!

    :rofl: my boss' always told me that if I'm not getting complaints I ain't doing my job. I can't speak for shooting people... I'd rather taser them :D and for driving too fast... I wouldnt drive crazy cuz that's my life at risk, but I would use my lights and sirens way too much :laughing:
