    any idea which 3?

    it would appear that you have found your issue right there. one wire could be mixed up accidentally and it is not reading correctly. or if it melted the wires together when you tried to use it it shorted out the ecu and that isn't working right.

    using the DPDT relay works just fine. after adjusting it to the correct spot it locks and unlocks perfectly and i haven't had an issue with it. only thing to worry about for me is not hitting the button while driving, because there is nothing to keep it from locking if my knee hits it. it will just click and boom. i really should just unplug the fuse tap when im not wheeling to prevent that.

    Wires aren't mixed up, did them one at a time.

    It would more likely be that something is wrong with the ecu....

    If you hit the button on an e-locker while driving it will do the same thing, correct? Maybe not as much damage, but damage nonetheless.
