No, your 100% right. Teachers are just teaching around a test, instead of a subject. Kids at my school that make straight A's like myself are having a hard time just passing the end of course test.

 

Dont Take anything in high school seriously.. didn't prepare me in the least for college

 

I don't think anyone takes high school seriously

 

I did for a while.. biggest waste of my life.. graduated with a 4.2 and slept in every class

 

I'm number 1 in my class. Not a big school though! 75 kids in my grade!

 

We had like 210 in my graduating class I was like 28th or something like that.. the kids that finished top 10 did nothing but study and try there best to finish first.. so dumb..

 

I finished in the top 20% of 460 kids. I fucked around a lot the first couple years so I has to work up from a 3.1 gpa. Got it to a 3.7. My ex was valedictorian so she had all kinds of cords and shit.

 

In all honesty not saying don't get good grades but colleges offered my more shit for my SAT scores than my GPA

 

I was a solid C student in HS. Lol. I was one of those smart if they actually applied themselves types.

 

That's how I've become in college I'm now an A B C student vs a straight A student

I live by the saying "C's get degrees" since I'm in engineering. I just laugh at the nerds bragging about being on deans list. I don't care for that recognition. Already have a job out of college so screw it.

 

Nice. Yeah I figure if I have a 3.0 I'll be fine.. I have a potential employer already and I have really good job history and references.

 

I have a 2.7 and I'm hoping to graduate with a 2.75 or higher. One of my friends graduated mechanical engineering with a 2.2 lol.

 

I think I graduated college with a 3.0. I got deans list once lol.

 

I have a 2.89 or something like that now.. would have a 3.0 but a professor refused to grade my final because he didn't like me and the school said he's allowed to do that..

 

In college I retained a 3.87 weighted & received my BS in RRT @ Loma Linda University. Realized that the med field is all bullshit, lies & greed politics & not about saving lives. In Fire Academy rt now @ 29 y.o. Best decision I've made in my life other that supporting the TW.com

 

When I was in HS it was the TAAS test...we actualy had classes that tought how to take standardized tests. "eat a good breakfast, get plenty of sleep, #2 pencil...blah blah blah"

What type of engineering? I will be starting back up with school next fall and I think thats what I want to major in. I did 4 years in the AF after HS because I didnt want to go to back to school. Now that I'm older and wiser me thinks it would be benificial to have a degree.

 

I am under 30 and will start paying attention from here on out! lol
