as an emissions guy in colorado, while nothings gotta be carb approved here, you can pass with the check engine light on it just gets noted on the test and we just check exhaust (o2 sensors, cats, air system depending on what the car came with), couple months ago there was an older 4 runner like a 92 with a supercharger that kept failing, so if youre moving to another state that does have testing consider your options carefully.

x2, buddy of mine had a 90 mitsubishi eclipse gsx (the awd turbo one) his liability insurance was insane and he was 22 no tickets, accidents, i think he paid like 3k / year and thats on an old ass car.

yeah, it won't be cheap, but i'll be out of school by then so i'll get by.

i'd get a WRX, but if i do any major mods than the tranny won't hold up, and it's ~ 6k to upgrade to a STI trans.

I doubt i'll be moving to somewhere with emissions testing, i know for sure that MS. doesn't have it, but i'm not sure about VA.

If i do have to pull some of the emissions stuff it should be fairly simple to incorporate it back in, somehow.

 

What? Why? The Iowa DMV does registration and title transfers in 5 minutes. Don't even need a bill of sale or anything.

I never had a chem lab but I'd imagine its going to be fun, my physics lab was cool my teacher was legit

We didnt do anything for lab just went over saftey and syllabus. However my gf is my lab partner so it should be a pretty easy year lol

We're required to dress up every time for the next class I'm going to, which is annoying. We were excited because they said we can start to wear western professional now but then they said we have to wear pressed jeans. Wtf. No girl wears pressed jeans lol

 

Yes that is the black one. I may end up just buying a new one. It has a mounting tab broken off. But the people at speed lab said they can rebuild the cone and weld a new bracket for $700.

 

So they do make chrome retrofits...and everyone was saying they didn't. Future mod.

 

The bike didnt have a title, but he had all paperwork needed to get one, all I had tondo was fill out a power of attorney and submit it all to te DMV to get the title made up

 

Nice, bangin' the lab partner haha. I took my chem lab as a sophomore and mostly freshmen take it. It just so happened that a hot chick that was a friend of mine was also in that section and we partnered up and kicked ass, usually the first ones done. The giddly lil' try-hard freshmen were like "how do you guys get done so fast?" when they were taking their time making sure everything was perfect then running out of time at the end. I told them "this is a 1 credit class that's not in either of our majors. Not giving a flying fuck about any of the experiments' results is how we get done fast, sometimes they work out sometimes they don't. Chem lab isn't gonna make or break you"

I like to think of myself as an inspirational badass. Don't ruin this for me

What the fuck kind of degree are you pursuing? I've never heard of either of those things...
