Cbr 500.. will handle highway speed and still gets 60ish mpg

If you are gonna go on the highway I wouldn't get a 250.. you will be blown all around

see thats the thing the 250 i would use for work only and its all highway but its rush hour so no one really gets over 45ish mph and if i was gonna go for anything else it was gonna be a harley iron 883 in flat black

I'm getting a Harley after school. I like my Ruckus, but I wish it had the power to ride highway. I had an old 250 motorcycle and it was a nice city cruiser. Still not heavy enough to ride highway safely.

So my SV650 is chick bike? I have heard it before lol but between that and my truck, I got all I need. The bike takes $10 with of gas every two weeks for commuting to work and it keeps the truck in lower mileage for the summer. Nothing wrong with 45 mpg and having fun to boot. Insurance is stupidly cheap on the 650 to. An R1 or any liter bike would suck in that aspect

Tons of SVs around here. Get a 250 for good gas mileage. It will still pull a wheelie fine if you want. You can gear them to accelerate fast as shit, you just don't get 80mph. I never rode my 250 over 65mph anyway, but it went 90.

Get a Honda Rebel. They ride very smooth and comfortable and get great gas mileage. And they are cheap.
