7 broken lights along the boardwalk. The guards out tonight aren't the brightest bunch. Probably hiding somewhere sleeping.

That's why I hate playing eagle eye. The motion cameras work only close range. And the IR panning camera can only catch silhouettes. I need to be out there.

Thanks. It's a little weak there I'm sure, but like I told someone else, rock crawling in Iowa is non-existent and I don't like to beat on my truck anyway. I would rather slowly slide over an obstacle than hit it hard. Mostly just awkward curbs or small children. I put it as high up as possible since most impacts would probably occur down by the diff. I'm not going over something that would hit it up high since I have other parts to worry about too.

But if it turns out to be too weak, a support plate could be welded on the top side of the skid I suppose.

Edit: and for what it's worth, the inside of the R that is still steel is a minimum of 1/2" wide, so it still has some integrity there.

I like it... Have you decided how thick of steel to use to make it?

3/16" of course. I can do anything actually but that's the most common for skids. About 55 lbs. High strength 3/16" is about $20 more I think but I can do that too.

Less than $200 before shipping. I'm hoping around $150 but it depends what I can get them bent for. I won't be getting rich off these prices but eff it.

Wow, that's awesome! Most of the ones I've looked at run about $300 before shipping.

Exactly. I'm trying to save y'all some cash cuz that's what I'm trying to do for myself. I over-estimated shipping for you... looks like about $35.
