30 and younger thread

Our teacher told us last year 80% didn't finish and that was over chapters 1-4, our test was over 1-6. 5 and 6 are a completely different concept from 1-4 and he put them together and didn't differentiate how he wanted them worked

 

So he curves a ton?

Last semester, when it was just Chapters 1-4, the class average was a 60

 

It's ok, I'm celebrating the fact that that bitch is over!

 

i think teachers and professors like that just have a big ego with the intent of wanting you to do well and learn alot but their execution isnt all that great

 

Wtf.. so maybe someone can help me.. I made my amortization schedule but after about 40 payments its saying that it circles back to the top?

I need to make 180 payments but it wont let me without circling

This. The only problem I have with LSU, especially the business school, is how vastly different the same classes are. My roommate is taking the same Finance as me with a different professor. They all had an hour and a half and it was all multiple choice. Everything was on the calculator, no work shown. He studied for 3 hours and made an A, I've studied every day for a week and probably not pass the test

I've learned way more in this class tan any of my friends did in their classes, but his tests are ridiculous

 

Not failed, didn't finish the test. I can't tear into the guy too much until I see what kind of curve he gives us. I definitely learned a lot

 

I hate that, my accounting 101 class did not in the least prepare me for 202, meanwhile my friends are aceing the tests because they had the professor for 101.

 

That's what I hate too. The lack of consistency between classes.

When I took finance we had only exams and they were hard as crap and fill in the blank. And yet, my friends taking the same class in the same semester under a different professor were allowed to use notes on the test and had homework and quizzes to help their scores and multiple choice tests. Seems a bit unfair.

 

So is life, everything can't be 100% fair

I gotcha, my classes all have around 30 except my chem lecture which has 200..
