Hey even having friends over for some drinks and fun is all cool, But she wanted to go barhopping and shit til 2 or 3am. Like... Your fucking 27 years old with two kids... TOO LATE TO DO THAT SHIT! Guess you can see why her and i didnt work well. Cant say i didnt try though.

 

Did I just open a can of worms? I've learned over the years that some girls are worth it. And some aren't. I've been cheated on, dumped, and straight up rejected. I didn't let it phase me. It was always on to the next and eventually didn't really care. Up until now. I was there when my current gf broke up with her ex. It was the night I met her that they broke up. She found out he had another gf on the side. She flew thousands of miles to be with him to find out he was with another girl. In a drunken stupor I told her that night that if she ever needs anything I'm there for her. She just played it off. After the breakup a number of guys pretty much started courting her. While I just stayed on the side and helped her when she needed it. I did tell her though that I would like to be in a relationship with her. But only if she was ready. She appreciated that I didn't push the issue. Before she left to go back home she and I spent time together. Told her that if she ever decides to come back I wanted my relationship with her to be different. I told her to stop seeing me as just a friend. Just before the end of last year she came back and things has been different since. She goes back home to finish school for half a year or a year. It's gonna suck because I'm gonna miss her while she's gone. But we don't spend much time together anyway. So it won't be that much different.

 

Shit man just gotta find that diamond, Keep her and make eachother happy. Dont even be in a relationship that your not happy in or if youre just being used, Fuck that kick her to the curb. When you find the one that makes you happy for no reason and the one that would do anything just to make you smile and youd do the same, Then theres something there.

Sometimes i play the friend card hoping for more but sometimes it feels wrong and sometimes it just feels like part of the game, Like woman dont do the same shit with guys yah know?

 

I've always ended up being friend zoned haha my now girlfriend had been trying to talk to me since 9th grade but I never really payed much attention because our only communication was through occasional facebook messages (she had no phone) and she wasn't allowed to date until she was 16. I kept talking to other girls and getting friend zoned, and then I was in a kind of bad place in my life and she messaged me. We got to talking and now we've been together for a year and 4 months. She changed my life and brought me back to a relationship with God. I can definitely say she's a keeper haha

It's funny now all the girls that friend zoned me always want to "talk" haha

Everyone always said there's a lot of fishes in the sea when it comes to girls. So I took it literally. Just put some lines out and wait. Or go dive and pick the one you want. My ex always told me that I have a tank with all the fishes I caught. So when I found my current gf. I told her I shattered the tank and let all the fishes go. Lol. She told me I better invite her to my wedding.

I would have liked to be friends with my ex if he didn't treat me so badly during the breakup. I did some thinking after and really couldn't come up with good reasons why I was with him. I feel like I wasted three years. I did all the giving and never got anything back. I treated him awesome until I came back from a month long internship in another city only to hear "I met a girl two weeks ago and I'm in love with her". Even though the day before I came back he told me how much he loved and missed me. Told me stuff like he never saw me as an equal and this girl deserved to be treated better than me. What bullshit. Anything to make himself feel better. But whatever...I'm better off.

I've just been trying to go out and meet people and I didn't realize how difficult it was to make guy friends. They always seem to get touchy and want something more. Blah.
