    Hmm, so either way I need to get access to the tank to see if the floater is messed up?

    I'm looking at the FSM to see where the wiring is for gauge. I don't think it's a wiring issue though, since it reads fine until I get to about 3/4 of a tank and then steadily goes down to 1/2 a tank and stays there.

    Great... Going to research the location of the wiring and test that first.

    Then I might try to remove the bed this weekend. Is the floater connected to the pump or is a separate piece in the tank?

    Yeah, I'm definitely going to do that if it comes down to it.


    Only thing I can find on the wiring for the fuel gauge is that it goes to the fuse panel under the steering wheel. So it looks like I'll be taking out the gauge cluster to see if I can get access to the wiring to test it.

    I know the colors at least...
