    I drilled to holes and used very small alan wrench screws made the hole smaller and when put them in it tightened it up of course. Hasn't moved sense and I check it. But tap screws would be fine to.

    My front plate is screwed in using the top two holes in the license plate, covering the valance. I just moved the plate up and moved the screws from the top two holes in the plate to the bottom two holes, essentially moving the license plate up and out of the way of the valance. But the screws are still in the same location in the plastic as before.
