Seen a few installs for this same type of thing on TW so figured why not..I got a light bar off Amazon for cheap along with a wiring harness and relay to get things started. I dont have any formal training with electronics i.e. any kind of tech job, I have re wired speakers in a few old mercedes though and done basic things around the house. When everything showed up from amazon I went to Home Depot an picked up a 48' length of 1' square bar to mount the light bar onto an then stopped at Ace for a few xtra machine screws and went home

    1. I removed the grill and measured from one end just infront of the headlight on the driver side to the same spot on the passenger side, came out to 34'

    2. Cut the bar down to size, drilled and bolted it on the truck and then the 30' light bar went on with the wiring end heading toward the battery

    3. Hooked up the wiring harness and drilled a spot for the relay close by the battery

    4. After watching a few youtube videos on disassembling the panels to expose the wiring I got a coat hanger to guide the wires through to the inside cabin

    5. Popped out one of the two spots for an auxiliary switch and put the toggle in

Its set just hi enough...but theres still some light being cut off on the bottom but thats alright its a little incognito addition for under 100$ and it does work as a decent light!

This is on top of a parking structure in the city so its already pretty bright out but you can see a difference (bout 100/150 ft)
