I cut up my Mictuning harness today and tied the 12V supply to the OEM style dash switch into the highbeam circuit. Now the dash switch serves as a "master kill" for the bar and but will not directly turn anything on. With this setup I can use the stalk on the steering wheel to control everything when I'm not in the city or kill the bar altogether with the dash button when I'm around town. I also like the idea of the stalk being my "hey asshole!" lever which is a much needed mod in SoCal.

I know I saw the wiring diagram someplace. Just installed the caliraised led bar. I purchased the oem switch to replace rocker switch that came with kit.

Rocker switch harness is three wires and the oem is four...im confused? How do I wire the new switch? Help!

Extra wire is to tap into one of the other switches so that the switch only lights up when the rest of the interior lights are on. See below for wiring. First post is for a mictuning wiring harness. Second post is for a caliraised wiring harness if I remember correctly.

Look at my write-up that I quoted in my last post. I have wiring diagrams and show the exact wiring including which to tap into

@pwalnut After using the MicTuning light bar for a few months now, any issues with it? Would you still recommend it?

Great! I'm going to use your writeup to perform this mod in the next few weeks. Starting to get the parts together now.

Just received the Cali Raised lower bumper bracket and their 32" lightbar. For the life of me, I cannot get the lightbar angled properly due to it hitting the bracket above it (not sure what the bracket is called but it's highlighted in the picture below). Anyone had to trim this to make it work?

That happened to me at one point when I installed mine. Just move the light bar around and once you have it in the right spot it shouldn't be a problem.

I was over-thinking it. I only had to bend that piece up about half a centimeter with pliers for the light bar to be positioned the way I wanted it.

Which bar and brackets did you go with? I just got a rigid radiance bar with Amber back lighting and some rago fab brackets.

Be aware if you buy the @CaliRaisedLed brackets and use a different manufacturer for the light bar the slots in the brackets to mount the bar may not fit your bar's bolt size. In my case, the mounting bolts for my bar are much bigger than the slots on the bracket or the supplied bolts from Cali. So I had to Dremel the brackets to get them to work. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned or not. Obviously, I was not happy to remove the powder coat of my very expensive brackets. I put this issue on myself for not inquiring before my purchase. But I think it should be known on the Cali website, at least in small print somewhere.

Also, thanks Cali for the new video.
