Yea, I think we are talking about the same thing, I am assuming they did NOT go back on after the install?

They did go back on. I'm not sure what they do. But I put them back in. I'll snap a picture later.

It looks like both the bracket and screws you used are zinc plated steel which is good but just a note to others considering this, don't use stainless steel for either or you'll likely have an issue with galvanic corrosion on the aluminum bumper structure. Just thought I would mention it in case it helps anyone.

Thanks for the idea, I believe based on my measurements I can use the back of the 4" cross tube and come straight up for my 20" light bar.

I feel like we need a post for links / reviews / prices on the 30" light bars available out there. Has anyone found a decently priced one that they really liked?

Cali Raised LED's have a decent price and I'm happy with the output. I can not speak to the long term quality of their product yet but their service was great with a fast delivery.

$79 on Amazon. Haven't tried it out on the road yet but seems nice. Reviews are fantastic on it. Used the same wiring harness and switch the op used.
Plus the 6" angle brackets bolted to the bumper support. Super easy and looks like a million bucks.

Did you have to take the front bumper off to install it? Could you take a picture up close of the sides?

    Thanks so much.

I did not remove the bumper. Only the grill, and side filler pieces. The best photo I can get of the sides is a couple of posts up.

Honestly it takes more time going to Menards to get the brackets and self tapping bolts than the actual install. Pop the grill off. Remove the side ducts. Mount the light. Reassemble. Super easy

Great instructions, did mine basically the same way except mounted the light from angle attached to the back of the aluminum cross tube. Thanks for the heads up on the process.
