I went back and made them thumbnails for that exact reason. Maybe it didn't change them. Maybe I can delete and repost.

Have you figured out if you want to add any other switches anywhere else where you would put them since there are no pop out plates??? This is my current dilemma. Thanks. Looks great.

I'm sorry, I am trying to purchase a switch and the one you used is what I need also. Do you have a company and part number that you purchased the switch from?

AWESOME tutorial. I just ordered the parts mentioned and can't wait to get going. Hopefully the light bar will arrive before 2018.

so red 1 goes into relay and then red 2 goes into the dimmer switch you spliced into ?

so since yours is wired so that it can turn on when the truck is off your switch is constantly lit up drawing power from the battery correct? isnt that not a good idea?

I ordered a cali raised 31.5 bar that comes with a wiring harness. I also bought the Mictuning switch, that came without any sort of wiring diagram. I would prefer that there is not any light on when the car if off and the switch diming with headlights would be nice but not crucial. How do I wire this thing? 4 wires on the plug are the following: Black - Red/White - Red/White - Green/Yellow

It just depends on the switch type he used. The Contra V swithces that I used have two leds. One is independent of the switch being on. So I wire the independent led (words) into a circuit that is only hot when the parking light's are on. That way when the parking lights are on the independent led comes on. However the switch will still turn on the led bar and illuminate the upper led (pictograph) weather the parking lights are on or not. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah it definetely does, this is my first time messing with switches at all in a vehicle, and upon my first attempt I wired the sasquatch push button switch in wrong with a constant power. So even when the car was off the switch was still lit. I had to reverse my wiring and then that worked so now the switch functions as designed.

Quick question.... In step 8 you mention using pale green wire from the exterior cab light switch. Where is this switch?

Just finished up the install.. very easy. I had to unmount both the brake and tranny cooler to shoe horn the bar in from the bottom. I did both installs... right to the plastic which didn't feel too secure and then opted for the corner braces. I had to go 5" braces and trim about an inch off the bottom to get it to fit on the aluminum sections. Then a couple washers underneath to get it to the right height. Ended up really secure and really clean. Took the time to derp the grill insert while I was at it. Quick question on the above...does the wiring only apply to the lit up switch or will that also limit the light bar to power only with accessories on. As I have it, the light bar is operable at all times, which I'm not keen on.
