I have been worried about this as its is buried in the fuel tank (correct me if Im wrong)
but as of the moment & 341k miles, no issues yet on the fuel pump

Yea bud mine went out probably because of a lot of idling and letting the tank go down to empty too much.

Could you imagine trying to sell any other make besides a Toyota with 300k on it?

Correct, it’s in the fuel tank. With the access cab you can remove the bed and change it, with the DC the fuel tank must be dropped.

    F no
Most autos after 200k are worth more in scrap value than resale value

Only a toyota with 300k+ will bring in several thousand bucks, even up to nearly $10k, as the example above demonstrates

    Go toyota!

Even with 341k miles on mine
I would never sell it for a penny less than $15k

There are a few 4th Gen 4runner owners with over 500k miles on their 4.0L V6 which is basically the same as the Tacomas.

243k km , 151k mi, and just got the frame replaced. Guess I'll just keep it, eh? Paid 13k CAD 4 yrs ago. Not sure how much the new frame adds to value, but I know it means something. Body's less than pristine, but I'm not afraid to go in the bush. Open diff, wish I had ( may add) Detroit TruTrac.
