300,000 Miles

Just to show how much things have changed. An ad from the 1960's where GMC is bragging that some of their trucks have gone 150,000 miles before needing an overhaul. As a general rule you'll get more mileage out of Toyota than domestic trucks, but they are getting better too. I have a friend who finally sold his 1997 F150 two years ago with almost 500,000 miles on it.

 

5 years later, I am about 2,000 miles from hitting 400,000.
