Toyota is pumping them out. I'd say as early as Nov for deals.

I hope you are right. I am looking at a limited, judging from this forum this not the most popular model so maybe it will be sooner rather than later.

I can wait for the dealers to play ball, or for the used market

Sure! I cross the Orange Curtain for a deal.

Especially since DTLA, Hollywood, N. Hollywood, Glendale, and Wondries are being super cagey at this point.

    Interesting.

Neither the Reno or Carson City dealers are budging on MSRP.

Might be worth it to take a train ride to Elko and drive it home. :D

I would also like to add looking at my dealer sticker which i still have, this truck with nothing special no rims no exhaust is 5k more than mine was.
In my opinion this is a rip off.

WHAT????? you paid 31,292 for a 2016 DCSB OR with HH tech pachage, tonneau cover and a tow package? Details please. That is way below invoice! Invoice on the truck alone is like $31,200.

    No i have a 2011 TX/pro
What im saying is that what they are offering on this 2016 cover and moon roof an A-Trac (climb control) is a joke.
For there asking price it should come with limited edt. Wheels and maybe some other cool shit.
Not just a 2016 tacoma with a moon roof cover and climate control.
    Just mt opinion though.
So $1000 a year increase. Inflation is getting worse.

Paid 3.6% off MSRP for sport long bed. Took a week and got a southeast Toyota distribution dealer in competition with a out of state dealer non SE dealer. The thing to watch is the SE dealers have a much higher MSRP for options like mats and protection packages etc. I walked out twice over the week long process and saved about 200 more to get to the 3.6%. Not sure if it matters that the truck was 2 weeks from delivery.

Wow, you are the first person on here that has ever mentioned a dealership paying interest when a truck sits on their lot. I have been mentioning this for months and no one seems to care.

    Thank you

What did you buy for 2700 off? We only go to crown to test drive. They have some rude salesman. Their fj inside is sweet, though

I think he mentioned his deal was for a 2015 not 2016.

Most the dealers in Northern California are selling for msrp as well. I called around almost everywhere. I did however was able to find a place willing to take reasonable offers which is Capital Toyota in San Jose. They took my offer of $1000 over invoice. Didn't try for any lower. Put my deposit down and the truck will be arriving next weekend.

    Goodluck on your search fellas!

Did I read the previous post right, you got $500 below invoice then orange beat that by $2700, so $3200 below invoice? Pretty much invoice price OTD? That's an awesome deal if so. Congrats.

Well pretty close. Taxes and fees usually run about 10-11%.

No don't pass ...Tell him you would like to give them invoice.... then offer $500 Over invoice including the Doc Fee. From there decide how much higher you want to go. Never go from MSRP down..MSRP is ONLY a "suggested" price

    NEVER NEGOTIATE PAYMENTS
