True about foam having a lot to do with the water. I have heard of other guys getting either a lot, or next to zero suds with reset.
I am starting to use my foamer like you, I find about 2 oz of maxisuds2 added to the foam cup that I filled with HOT water works best, nice and sticky.

The more often you wash your vehicle the more it impacts the life of your products even if its a pH balanced product.
So I wash only when necessary.

My vehicle is also parked inside 90% of the time.

I just did my buddies truck in optiseal after reading some reviews and I'm impressed, its a spray on and wipe or spray on and dry type sealant, thinking it will probably hold up for 2-3 months here in AZ before it needs it again.

Optiseal is some good stuff. Amazing how little product you need compared to other siO2 sealants, I have a small bottle and it'll last me a few cars. I also like it on wheels.

I think I over did it too and still very little product. I coated everything, glass, bed, wheels, trim and paint. Was very impressed with it.
