Currently I have 285/75/16’s mounted on raceline 16x8 0 offset wheels. No rubbing. Got thinking about changing to a 305/70/16 which turns out to be the same height but up to an inch wider tread. Im not concerned with the height but the width. I would like a slightly wider tire on there. I believe I have enough space from the tire and the stock UCA to fit it but I’m nervous. I think that would be the only spot that would interfere. Anyone done it? I can’t find many posts of this size being used. I’ve seen some 305/65/17 on 17x9 wheels which would push the wheel 1/2” further in (assuming 0 offset) than my current race lines.
