Just had some 305 70 16 BFG K02's installed on the truck. What is a decent tire pressure to go with? It's been wet outside and will be for a few days and can't do a chalk test.
They actually arrived, mounted on the Method 701's at 65lbs! thats way too high I think.

I feel somewhere around 45-50 would be about right. I have the long bed with a Leer cap and no gear inside at the moment running a Toytec boss kit if that makes any difference.

    Thanks for any input.

I’ve run some 305/70R16 Fierce Attitude M/T 124P E rated tires on American Eagle alloys 16x8, weighing 84lbs per tire+wheel combo. I’ve put a little over 40k miles on them at roughly 29psi and they have worn perfectly. Not much extra weight on my truck, double cab short bed, no cap.

What rating tires did you get? That can be an important factor. Definitely do the chalk test when the rain settles down but you should be alright until you can in any case.

You might need to put glasses on but the max tire pressure rating is written on the sidewall. Idk if offroading has different implications or not....the writing is usually in really small print. Thus the need for glasses lol

Don't run the max on a little tacoma!

Try 35. 80 would be on a 1 Ton at max payload and towing.

Thanks for the advice. I run my tires at 32 pounds but I have my winter tires on now.
