You can pre-buy maintenance service contracts called Toyota Care. It's in addition to an extended warranty contract.
It includes all major services but not those on the OPs list, only what's listed in the maintenance manual like the screen shot above. Also anything that's in "special condition" category isn't covered. I bought one & fought like hell for the diffs, trans fluid changes because I tow and bought a truck with a factory tow package. My dealer said it was "extra" and Toyota Care wouldn't reimburse it. I wish I had known enough to ask specifically about that when I prepaid. :( That's on me :(
Also any work you do yourself can get entered into the Toyota Owners section on the toyota.com website where all services are noted by the dealer.

Ok first that seems actually insane, second we have mainly owned GM's in the past. Our Silverados/Sierras would normally go 90-100k before a service that wasn't just oil/filter and be traded in between 130-150k with no issues. Actually, one of the Sierras ended up with a bent rear axle from a rock quarry dumping way too much rock into the truck at once. Trucks weren't babied either, used for a machinery business and often towed or hauled more than they should've. I don't remember ever having a 30k or 60k or whatever service until 90-100k. Are Toyotas different or were we just dumb?

Also don't mean to start a gm vs toyota argument or anything... I know people here are sensitive about that subject so I guess we just had magical trucks with no problems. Our Titan was kind of a pos though... Just wondering if this is actually necessary.

I would love to see what/how they actually "inspect".

    Your dealer is slipping up.

He missed the cabin air filter on that list for probably another $150.

    Yeah.
Brake fluid exchange service, LOL. Be glad you found this forum! Not sure what the manual says for a 2.7, but probably the MOST you would need from the dealer is:

    - Oil change
    - Retorque flange bolts (I know they always list this, have never had mine loosen but nice to check while under there)
    - Engine air filter
    - Tire rotation (check your psi after, they always overinflate)
    - Lube driveshaft if it has zerks, but don't think yours does
    - Front, rear diff oil and transfer case oil (if 4x4, and if you don't wheel it you could probably wait to 60k, if 4x2 only rear diff is needed)
    - If you've never replaced the cabin air filter, might as well do that too

You shouldn't need new transmission fluid at this point, nor new brake fluid, and all that cleaning and conditioning is crap. I assume you can buy a bottle of washer fluid and pour in yourself.

Take it somewhere else with the maintenance schedule doc and just ask them to do what is listed for the conditions you use the truck in (towing, etc.).

Again thank you guys for the tips and advice! Really appreciate it.

I just watch this video on YouTube about CBC News doing an investigation about this kind of situation, it's pretty crazy.

All this is not available for the Toyotas sold at the Servco dealers here in Hawaii. They are the Hawaii Distributor for Toyota and Lexus, Just like Toyota USA is the distributor for the rest of the 49 states. No Entune because they claim no Satellites in Hawaii, no access to the Toyota owners website, Complain to corp, and they just refer you back to Servco, yada, yada, yada. I own a Lexus and the Taco and I dont have access to most of the features that Toyotas purchased on the mainland has access to. Even the extended warranty is called VSP, and not a Toyota branded warranty, just one that is backed by Servco themselves. They have the entire Hawaii/Guam market and nobody can touch them, even Toyota corp. I had a 20k oil change for my Lexus and they charged me $240, I nearly had a heart attack. Literally, that is all they did, maybe top fluids, rotate tires and add some type of additive to the oil (Kreks, or something like that) As long as you follow the recommended service in the manual, they still have to honor your warranty or extended warranty. At least I got to drive a Brand new RX loaner while they serviced it...lol

This may already be mentioned. But the service manual tells you what you need at 30k and it’s just an oil change. Tire rotation. Air filter.

The service manual doesn’t even have half that shit in it.

Looks like they automatically assume you need the 'Additional Maintenance for Special Operating Conditions' Tell them you don't have those conditions and ask for a NEW quote.

    30,000 miles or 36 months
Check installation of driver’s floor mat
Inspect and adjust all fluid levels
    Inspect wiper blades
    Lubricate propeller shaft (4WD)
    Re-torque propeller shaft bolt
    Replace engine air filter
Replace engine oil and oil filter 1

Rotate tires Inspect the following: _ Ball joints and dust covers _ Brake lines and hoses _ Brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs 4 _ Cabin air filter _ Drive shaft boots (4WD) _ Engine coolant 5 _ Exhaust pipes and mountings _ Front differential oil (4WD) _ Fuel lines and connections, fuel tank band and fuel tank vapor vent system hoses _ Fuel tank cap gasket _ Radiator and condenser _ Rear differential oil _ Steering gear _ Steering linkage and boots _ Transfer case oil (4WD) _ Transmission for signs of leakage NOTE: Driving in heavy traffic, on dirt roads or in urban, dusty or desert areas may shorten the life of the cabin air filter. Replacement may be needed if you notice reduced air flow from the air conditioner and heater or if the windows fog easily when you use the Fresh mode. Consult your dealer if any of these conditions occur.

Additional Maintenance Items for Special Operating Conditions Driving on dirt roads or dusty roads: Replace transfer case oil (4WD) Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body Driving while towing, using a car-top carrier, or heavy vehicle loading : Replace front differential oil (4WD) Replace manual transmission oil Replace rear differential oil Replace transfer case oil (4WD) Tighten nuts and bolts on chassis and body

The only thing I see that's a good deal here is the tax. Wow 4.137%, we pay 12% here in BC.

I doubt that is the factory service recommendations list. Check your owners manual. Looks like local dealer mark-up on a bunch of stuff.
