It's only impressive because our team sucks this session. LOL

For the most part I'm "busy", since it's only indoor, but last night was a bit "much". LOL

In indoor isn't the arena small enough that a ball can be put on target from any where on the field?

Yeah, just about, if you know how to shoot. LOL

The team we played last night had a "few" guys like that... and our defense gave them all the space and time in the world unfortunately.

3ADF7A65-43C8-4B04-BC0D-DF65EAB4706E.jpg Well well well. It been two days since I have been on TW .. Why you ask?? Because my last dr appointment allowed me to get outside at work and not sit in front of 4 computer screens all day. Still on modified duty but fresh air is better than office air!!! 3 months in on a 6-9 month rehab

I'll be glad to ditch my full time job for my part time job when the part time job becomes full time.

As it stands, I sit in front of a computer for 8 hours full time main job, then couple hours more at 2nd job. I'm so ready to do some labor again.. When 2nd job becomes full time, I'll get to do more than just computer work.

Well... I quit my job that I've worked at for the past decade today. I managed to work myself into a situation that wasn't really good for me (compensation flat-lined while workload increased) and decided to find something new. I'm excited to get paid the new job wage, just wish that I had the freedom that is afforded to someone that has been at the same place for a decade. I don't remember the last time I wore shoes that would be work appropriate. I'm going to miss the freedom of being able to take a day off because it's so nice outside.

Thanks! It wasn't the easiest of decisions and job hunting after not having looked for a job in years is awful. I'm glad to be finished with all that.

I think the ease of applying these days makes it more overwhelming. I've accidentally sent my resume places. I'm glad to be finished.

I hope I don't have to apply for anymore jobs. I know I'll use those Job Interview Meme's to my disadvantage.

It's hard, in my experience, if you're out of practice. I had some pretty awful interviews.

I made a change 3.5 years ago to a new career field. So glad I did. But at the time I needed a friend to help push me off the ledge to make the jump and show me it was better for me in the long run because at first it was a 10-15k (depending on my commissions) a year pay cut.

I use to be the manager of a hose and fittings store/warehouse. I got paid salary + commission but didn’t sit on the phone or go outside to farm up sales. I left because I was breaking sales records every year and when I asked for a commission raise for 3 straight years and didn’t get it I felt undervalued...

I am now a government construction worker. I get paid hourly and have lots of overtime to choose from if I want to do it... I don’t have to worry about “hitting a sales number” and I can take a day off now whenever I want and don’t have to give 3 weeks notice before I go like before... good health care and a state pension that will probably be gone or hardly worth anything by the time I retire the way Oregon is fucking around in the legislature.

    Working for the government

Much recommend, paid for my bachelors, job security, retirement, etc., etc.

You won't find me going back to the private sector.
