The only thing that matters is that you feel good about the purchase. I have realized that someone will always get a better deal than me.

You are also correct in that geography does play a big role. The Pacific NW is pretty strong and hasn't been hit as hard as other parts of the country. I have been bargaining on a few different cars and in both instances the dealers did not want to move very much. One deal fell apart with a difference of $1,000 and that was on a new GMC Sierra. They did not want to give me another $1,000 for my trade in.

I have received a couple of quotes for a V6 Auto DC Longbed 4x4 with the SR5#2 w/JBL, tow package and protection package. One came in at $29.1k and the other was $29.5k. I would feel better if I could get it down to $28.5k but the way my dealings have been going so far I don't know if I will get someone to bite.

Seriously how are these auto makers not making ends meet? You pay attention as you drive to wherever.. almost everything on the road is newer. God they have no concept of balancing a budget, much like our entire country. lol

I bought a 09 trd off road 27k - $200 over dealer invoice - their incentives change all the time.

$31,191.79 out the door. Good? - What would it be if you took it inside the door?

Access cab or double cab? Did you have a trade in? Did you finance or did you pay in cash. All of these factor in the purchase.
