31x10.5 or 265/75-15?

I have 31x10.5 on there now but its sluggish up hills and i have to downshift. Will going with a 265/75 make it better or wil i have to downgrade to a 235/75-15 to get it without looking goofy or ruining my ground clearence?

 

have you done the deckplate mod yet? that helped my 3RZ go up hills with 32s.

 

Well it is stock with a K&N. I blew the motor and replaced it with a brand new one that now has 30,000 on it so i figured it should have no problem. I wanted to keep it as close to stock but if nothing else works...

Thats a link to a tire conversion chart.

265x75x15 is roughly 30.6x14.4x15 So just about the same size as a 31x10.5 15.

I would say do the deck plate mod or something to give it a little more power and stay with the same size tires.
