No, telling you what you can run and keep your rake, have stuffed wheel wells, and no issues that come from suspension alteration.

Ahh okay. Thanks. I might end up doing that. Don’t want to level the truck as I plan to do some towing

If I remember correctly it was an old JCB unit. It was when I was doing my entry level trades. I ended up going the Commercial Transport route even though I was focused on the Heavy Duty route. So my experience is limited to that single unit. The unit worked like a skid steer. Probably an odd ball and that's why it was donated to the school. Too expensive to repair and maintain. And I just mistakenly though that was normal.

And thank you for the information :hattip:

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
Have you loaded your bed yet? After I added my topper and inside tool box my truck dropped an inch or so. Load up for the trip and see how she sits.

Try to understand this topic from the perspective of guys who have been here a while. At least once a week someone posts something related to no understanding how their 4X4 system works. You are by far not the 1st person to be confused by this, and not just on this forum. I also hang out on a F150 forum and used to own a Wrangler and used to post on their forum some. To be honest there are a LOT more misinformed Wrangler owners than there are here. And some of those guys simply refuse to accept reality. There are enough people out there who mis use their 4X4 systems that I doubt that I'll ever purchase another used 4X4.

For most of us it gets old explaining the same issue time after time. And I have a hard time wrapping my head around why it is so hard to understand. I started driving 4X4's in the 1970's and EVERYONE who owned one understood how they worked what could be done and what couldn't. Perhaps it was having to get out and manually lock the hubs that reinforced when and how to use 4X4. Today it is simply so easy that many people don't have a grasp of what is happening internally to the drive train.

I have, put a lot of stuff in the back and it’s fine. My concern will be when I’m towing my trailer. Worst case just leave it all stock

Your question isn't silly or stupid. It is honest. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just filter the crap out when you post and you will be fine.

That's true of 99.99% of the drivers on the road across all vehicle types. And it's not just 'today'. It's always been.

    A few.
With the size tires you have on there now, imo, looks wise, a lift of 1 1/2" - 2" in front and 1 - 1 1/2" in the back would look best. Since you tow a trailer and hall weight in the bed an add a leaf for the rear would raise it 1 1/2" and make it a little stiffer so it wouldn't squat down as easy when towing/hauling.

    This right here.
Ask away, I been here awhile and have seen most questions many times, I've never really understood why people need to get upset. Yes people can search topics, but often times the right ones don't pop up.
