Ok so you tapped it right at the light? I was thinking you tapped it at the dash. You've had no problems with this? I was advised not to tap into factory harnesses that it would throw the system off.

Never had any issues this is just a 12violt signal for the relay all it does is trigger the relay
To turn on the wiring harness to the light

cut the wire and either solder everything together and heat shrink or use sealed butt connectors.

I'm just speaking from experience. I pull them off on a weekly basis for wiring damage. Trailer wiring and remote starts are the biggest culprit.

the wire is still cut. will still need to address the wire if you remove the tap. good spot for moisture to get in and corrode the wire

Anyone got the link for the wireless remote so you don't have to run wires thru the firewall

Running through the firewall is very easy. There is a big ass grommet on driver side.

I saw the RC kit but Chris's brackets look 10x nicer and more well built than the RC kit. Nit to mention he uses three bolts to secure the bracket vs two with the RC.

What kind of deal did you get on this? Caliraised has the 3D bar and brackets for $259
How difficult was the bracket install and where did they mount to on the truck?
