Thank you for the well thought out post! There are defiantly different levels of LEDs. First thing, my mounts incorporate just about all brands of LED. I have customers with $$$$ Baja Designs and Rigid LEDs down to $$ Ebay LEDs mounted.

With that said, Wicked is IP67, Cali Raised who I also am a dealer for is IP68 and like you said Rigid is IP69. I personally have had great success with Cali Raised so far. I just got two Wicked LEDs and I can say the quality on the exterior is impressive. They have a lot of little details I like that I have not seen on others (stainless hardware on the LED and vent). I also like the weather connector the Wicked LEDs come with. At the price point I can say they are hard to beat. I am not an LED expert but from my experience with a few, the ones with the moister release valves work great and the fully sealed ones eventually fog up. The Cali Raised and Wicked both have them and I think they do a great job of keeping your lenses clear. I just did some water crossings with my LEDs and they all went through no problem! As you said, it all comes down to price and what you can afford. I would go Baja Designs all around if I had a money printer haha.

As for the wiring and harnesses. All the LEDs come with free generic wiring harnesses and they incorporate very easily. They are made to go right on the battery with ring terminals and have the relay and switch all ready to go, you just have to mount them. The only real wiring you have to do is connect the LED to the harness. Some people upgrade switches and I may offer these in the future. The hard part is people run switches in different places and do different things all the time and like to customize their switch. Most people use the generic harness and are very happy with it, I have not had one complaint other than a relay getting crushed in the mail. I do agree that customers want the whole package and I think this is it. The only thing missing from your list is security hardware, but 90% run Stealth mounts and don't really need it. When you buy the mount and LED combo you have everything in the box to mount the LED and have it come on. If people want to customize from there I like leaving them the option to choose their extras. I run the generic harness and switch in my wife's 4Runner as we speak. My Tacoma, heavily modified wiring system (bussman, power cut offs, weatherpacks, multi switches....)

I was working on that today. Pricing for the Wicked LED combo and Cali Raised combo will be up in the next day or two! Prices will be approx $10 to $30 lower depending on the setup you choose.

Anyone, do you know what size the bolts are that attach the mounting brackets to the light bar housing?

I'm looking at some sort of security nuts or bolts for security. Do the security bolts on caliraised website work for this application? What size are they?

Should be M6 x 1.0 x 16MM. The Cali Raised ones should work. Worst case you may need to add a flat washer and lock washer to take up space. But it's not a bad idea because it helps lock everything in place. I have started including new hardware with the combos that have a flanged bolt and lock washer to make sure they are perfect!

Thank you. I'm looking at the ICI security nuts and bolts too. Super pricey. Anyone ever used these? Also considering Caliraised and off road gorilla

I hate repeating posts in a forum but no one answered my question so here it is:

"I am interested, but I have a question for you stealth mount LED guys. With the light bar behind the lower grill(stealth mount) do you have problems keeping the glass of the LED bar clean? Seems it would be easier to clean bugs and grime off the flush mount set up. Any 1st hand experience with this? Thanks for your input."

I don't have one but looking at my Tacoma and having a stealth mount would be a nightmare to keep the lenses clear.

I'd prefer to have it mounted on the roof but, I imagine that sucker would howl going down the road at 75mph.

    Regards

    Steve

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
I haven't had an issue yet with bugs on my stealth mount, just spray them off, I'm obviously not cleaning it to its full potential, but it still works great. If it was an issue you could loosen the light bar, tilt it up and clean it from behind the grill.

I have always just hit mine with the pressure washer at the DIY car wash and never had any issues with it being clean or less light output. It all depends on how OCD you are and how you want it to be. But as far as function, just keep the debre off of the lens and it will work just fine.

Did anyone else have an issue with blowing fuses with the MICTUNNING switch like cdplaya did? I noticed he never got back about it in this thread. I am about to do the Cali Raised 31.5 stealth mount and was going to hook it up as explained in post 134 of this thread. Is this the correct way to wire it?
