I believe it's the light green wire on the cargo lamp. I spliced into that and my light works well. Turns on with the dash lights.

Yes. Green wire on Cargo lamp. Only green wire there is. Peel back the tape a little bit and use a T-Tap to tap the wire.

The cargo lamp switch is the switch on the left hand side of the dash that turns on the bed light (cargo light). Unplug the wire harness from the back of that switch and tap the green wire as shown. This picture:

I think I get it now. I wasn't understanding where or what the cargo light was located. It just hit me that the reference is the cargo light switch coming off of the dash. Correct?

Can you specify where you cut and what did you keep?

I'm having trouble understanding this part.

Cut the harness before the white connector so that you can red just the wire through the firewall. There will be plenty of extra. once you push the wire through the firewall you can then see it if you removed the panel.

    Yep, correct!

Everything is the picture is removed and not used, discard the entire assembly in the pic. You can see the cut wires in the pic just before the white connector.

Thank you guys for clearing this up for me.

All three wires are going through the firewall correct?

Correct. All 3 go through the firewall and hook up to the back of the Mictuning switch. You'll have a 4th wire that goes from the Mictuning switch directly over to the Cargo Light switch (green wire).

I received my order last week. Exceptional quality materials, down to the stainless hardware . The brackets are Bullet proof. :infantry:I could hang a tank from them lol. I took Chris' advice and used Rustoleum bed liner spray to paint them . The look sweet.

Now all I need is a truck to mount them on. :mudding:

    Thanks Chris I appreciate everything

I just got mine a little bit ago. Hope to install this weekend but I might wait for the BAMF grill. I saw the stuff about being overbuilt but I was way off in what I expected. I guess I was thinking of something sort of like what comes with most lights. These freaking things are heavy and solid. They are beautiful. I will buy from you any day.

I used the trailer brake connector. It is tucked in under side panel. I think it was a green wire, but I don't remember for sure. Check it out with a meter.

Mounts arrived today... very pumped about them. Now to set aside some time to install and get my LEDs in behind the grill. Chris was awesome to deal with along the way and its sad that others will need to wait a while for his return to the mount world, but I'm sure all his products will reflect the quality in the brackets I've seen.

    Thanks again very much @MojaveMadman

And because everything is better with pictures...
