How hard is it to clean up the lens on a stealth mount?
Amber option? cover or remote (winter time)
I didn't see Wicked in the drop-down menu on the website.

I clean my LED at the car wash with the wand with no issues. It all depends on if you want to buff it to a shine or not. With the 2010 taking the LED out is actually kind of easy if you really wanted to.

For the lens covers you can get some from superbrightleds.com that snap right on and they work good. Might be a little difficult to install on the Stealth mount with the LED installed. In your case a Flush mount might be better with your lens needs.

As for the Wicked LEDs that change color, they had some concerns with that model and are no longer offering them.

I will shoot you a PM with the details on those. Short story, I am making some changes depending on the options you want.

So I have my kit installed now. I went with the flush mounted 4D CaliRaised LED bar. Installation was very easy, I'd say it took me about an hour to install the mounts, attach the bar, and modify the included harness to work with my auxiliary fuse block. I don't like the included switch, so I have one on order. However, all in all, I'm a happy customer. The only thing the seller could do better, is offer security bolts as an option at order time. With the gaps on either side of the flush mounted bar, it allows a thief very easy access to the 2 bolts that hold the LED bar to the mounts. A 10mm socket wrench, wire cutters, and 2 minutes and the bar is gone. But thievery is not the seller's issue, so I'm not bagging on him. Just an FYI. I would buy from this seller again.

Really appreciate you taking the time to write an honest review!!! The feedback is definitely noted. I am working on getting unique hardware to offer you guys. However if you wanted to order some right away they are 6Mx1.0 bolts, 16mm long. There are a lot of people that sell security hardware out there in pairs!

I received the stealth mounts I ordered in under a week. Mounts are well built and I look forward to installing. No word on the CaliRaised 3D LED bar ordered at the same time. I assume it ships directly from CaliRaised ... but I don't remember reading anywhere on the site or on this thread if I should expect a tracking number for the bar or will it just show up? No big deal either way, just curious.

    Nick,

PM incoming with your LED tracking. I am working on tweaking my websites fulfillment process to allow me to send a second tracking number. Sorry for any confusion while I streamline my process and my new website. I think I have it almost figured out. I should have sent it via email separately to you.

Just for the record Cali Raised has been gracious enough to ship most of my orders direct while I work in buying my new facility beginning of 2017. Until then they will ship most stuff separately via UPS ground. So usually the mounts beat the LED as they are shipped priority. I keep everyone's tracking saved and make sure orders arrive in a timely manor until I begin to personally carry and ship the LEDs. If anyone wants tracking I have them all handy!

if you are interested, I installed the bar that I received yesterday (flush mount) on my 2012, and it seems to work pretty good! im not 100% done, as I still have to dremel a few loose ends off of the bumper. but im pretty pleased with the mounts! the quality is awesome and they fit pretty snug. no cutting was needed to the mounts at all.. very pleased thus far.. Thanks Chris!

    heres a pic..

So it's not typical for me to post about a shipping issue or whatever, but I thought this one would be worth sharing. I wanted to share with everyone my level of dedication to customer service and making sure every single customer is a happy customer. This email is missing some context on some parts but I think you guys can get an idea of what the customer is saying. Every company has occasional goof ups. There are things we do to try and avoid them, but they happen. But the real difference between companies is how the goof ups are fixed! Some companies fail to communicate via email to customers, I find this unacceptable. This whole issue was resolved via email.

Specifics for this are as follows. Mounts were shipped Friday. Today the customer notified me there was a problem with USPS delivering to his house and that the package was returned to me. I went ahead and sent him a new one out a couple hours later and sent tracking. I have not yet received the returned package yet, but wanted him to have his mounts. I am sure the return will make it here in the next couple days, but that is not the customers job to worry about that!
