I can fit 32s on 16s without a rim, or should I pay extra for about a 2 in lift and get 33s on 17s? Im 16, and paying for my upgrades so im kind of on a budget. Since my truck is a prerunner and I don't do much off roadng, wouldn't it be more practical not to lift? I've also heard there's no point in lifting a 2wd truck that much. I need peoples opinions on what to do because I will be purchasing tires and rims soon. Any opinion will be appreciated!

Lots of people lift their prerunners on here. If you lift your truck, try not to buy a spacer lift as that will make your truck ride really rough.. My truck came with a 3 inch spacer lift and I cant wait to swap it out for toytecs ultimate lift kit someday really soon. 32 arnt really that much of a difference from 33s so if your just driving mostly on street, id just leave it how it is and go with 32s. Or you can go with the lift and 33s, either or

Id go with 285/75/16's on a 3 inch lift level kit.
881 ome coils up front, Pro comp or ather AAL in rear. OME nitrocharger shocks all the way around. your good to go.

    Gimme a sec.

Do you need rims and tires or just the lift?

    OME 881 coils. (2) $170
    Pro comp AAL. (2) $40
    OME Nitrochargers. (4) front-$263, rear $189
You also need a bpv bracket but you can make one pretty easy.
    total. $660 plus shipping.

If thats to much you can skimp on the shocks for the front, you can use your stock ones for a lil while. And you can go with cheaper pro comp shocks on the rear.

However I think you will be unhappy with the ride if you skimp. Just save up and plan on spending the $675

I think I might stick with the 32s, if I can sell my dirtbike id have all the money for the rims and tires, 32s and 33s don't look much different, so should I just.go for 265/75/16 or 285/75/16

If your not lifted then dont get the 285s. You could get the 265s and have no rubbing without a lift? Im not sure on that one

I like the look when the tires fit snug without a lift, if you know what I mean. So 265 should do fine

    On a budget, check.

Likes the "wheels snug in the wheelwell look," check.

    Not much offroading, check.

Yeah - go with 265/75R16 tires. If you're getting rims also, be careful not to get too much "negative offset" or even the 265/75R16 won't fit.

But 265/75R16 will fit on the stock rims.

What you want is a 7.5" or 8" wide rim with +6 or +12 offset.
