Great info and video! Thinking about putting 255/80/17 on 4R TRD PRO Wheels on a stock OR. Giving me confidence that it will work.

I would do 33/ 10.50s but they are too darn heavy, now if I could get them in a C or SL rating. I wonder if the 35/ 11.50s would work? I'm leaning towards the 285/70/17 SL Toyo AT3s. Very light and should not have any issues with on my 4runner sema wheels.

To be honest I haven’t felt to much power loss from them. I’ll get my matching spare down and weigh the tire and wheel combo and see what it comes in at.

Those tires are like 60 pounds, I think.

35s on stock suspension can be done if you up your cutting/welding tolerance

    Stock-ish
To add onto the Kenda Rts:
I've been running them for around 4k miles. They are a great tire, and thats coming from me running probably 20 different tires in my past. They are fairly quiet on road, handle well on the wet, and do amazing in the snow. I haven't noticed any wear really, just some rock rash. I've plowed up to the headlights in snow, not sure if its from the tires or the driver. So far they done well on the pnw trails, and I'm going to Moab next month so I'll get to see how they do on the rocks. They measure pretty true to size, under weight/35psi I have 32.8" and 10.5" wide on my 17x8.5 wheels. They are pretty heavy, just the tires are 60lbs each. The stock wheel/265 tires together were exactly 60lbs on my scale. I didn't really notice much power difference, it will still chirp the tires on a hard downshift and truck still pulls good. Only thing was the tranny freaking out on the highway, but an Ov tune has pretty much solved that. I can pull ~19mpg on the highway if I want, and 17ish city if I drive nice, doubted I dont have much weight on my truck yet.

What offset are you running? I have minimal rub with my 265/70r17 with a 2in lift but i run -12mm 17x9. Would definitely be interested in this size. Would like to keep my wheel setup but I'm guessing I screwed up to have any rubbing at the 265 albeit minimal rub

That was a long time ago/couple setups ago, but those wheels were +18mm.
